We started our hat journey in 2020 with a simple frustration: almost every baseball-style hat out there was just a team logo, corporate promotion, or business advertisement. Buyers were essentially paying to promote someone else’s brand.

That wasn’t for us.

As native Floridians rooted in South Florida’s coastal lifestyle, we wanted hats that reflect our personalities and passions. So we began creating our own line: premium hats finished right here in South Florida with designs that celebrate coastal Florida living.

What started with distinctive leather patch designs has grown to include quality embroidery as well. Today, Bravo Cay offers hats (and embroidered pieces like tea towels) featuring interesting, dominant artwork — no team logos, no corporate branding. Instead, you’ll find a small Bravo signal flag on the side, our quiet mark that this hat is one of ours.

We now have thousands of customers, mostly right here in the South Florida marketplace, who appreciate the difference. These aren’t hats for everyone. They’re for people who celebrate the coastal lifestyle and want gear that feels personal, not promotional.
